Join us for Holy Week Services

Passion Sunday: April 13th at 10 am

The worship service begins with the procession of palm branches followed by songs, reading the passion of our Lord according to Luke, and receiving the holy supper.
Maundy Thursday - April 17th at 6:30 pm

Maundy Thursday is a shortened form of mandatum (Latin), which means "command."  "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another" ( John 13:34). Following his commandment in our worship service, scripture reading, prayer, foot-washing and sharing the Lord’s supper are included.
Holy Friday - April 18th at 7 pm

The service begins with the procession of the Cross, followed by reading the passion of our Lord according to John, bidding prayer, songs, and finally concludes with individual prayer at the foot of the cross.
Holy Saturday Vigil - April 19th at 7:00 pm

The service has two parts. The first part begins with burning a new fire to light the paschal candle, followed by prayers and reading several scriptures that tell God’s salvation story.  All the reading and the prayers are done in the dark, only with candlelight. The second part will be held in the Sanctuary with full light, singing joyful Easter proclamations: “Alleluia, Christ is Risen”
Resurrection of Our Lord Easter Sunday - April 20th at 10 am

The Easter Sunday service is a service of Joy where the Risen Christ will be proclaimed in joyful songs. The good news of our Lord will be shared both in the word and the holy communion. Children will have the chance to hear the Easter story and explore the empty tomb.
