  • Wednesday Evening Programming starts with dinner at 6:00 p.m. We still have openings for volunteers to sign-up to provide dinner for our youth and adult volunteers. You pick what you would like to serve. Some dinner ideas are pizza, soup/chili, grilled cheese & chips; mac and cheese bar, spaghetti, sandwiches, tacos or any other ideas you have. Please indicate in the comments section what you will be serving when you sign-up and plan on preparing for around 20 youth/adults. The youth enjoy dinners, so we want to continue them. SERMON ON THE MOUNT BOOK STUDY starting Feb 16th - In Matthew’s Gospel, the Sermon on the Mount is Jesus’ keynote address previewing his entire ministry. What does it mean to be blessed? Think you know the "Our Father" prayer? What does it mean to live into, and live out of, the Kingdom of Heaven? We’ll focus on those questions and many more when Advent’s Thursday evening book study returns on Feb. 16. We’ll see and hear brief comments from internationally renowned Biblical scholar Amy-Jill Levine, then reflect on the pertinent chapters in her book, The Sermon on the Mount. Buy the book if you like, but it’s not essential; our primary text will be the Bible itself, especially Matthew, chapters 5-7. Our instructor is Bishop Emeritus Roger Gustafson, and the Zoom link to the group is
