SUNDAY SCHOOL needs volunteers to help out with Sunday School from 9:15-9:45 a.m. before worship on Sundays. Your job will include reading a short Bible story, helping with a craft, cleaning up an activity, and spending quality time with the youth of our church. Any questions?

ATTENTION MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL FAMILIES. We're excited to announce that Advent is now part of the Collective! The Collective is a group of local Lutheran churches including Atonement, Holy Cross, Kaw Prairie, and Salem. Advent will be working with these churches to plan fellowship, service and fun events for our youth. Watch for more information about coming events. 

 

GOOD FAITH NETWORK—Advent Lutheran is a new member of Good Faith Network, a Johnson  County interfaith group composed of 25+ congregations across 3 faith traditions. Each year, the Good Faith Network hosts a county-wide listening process to hear from the community members about what they think are the most pressing problems to be addressed in Johnson County. We will host four listening sessions here at Advent - see below for dates and times.

       September 19 at 7 p.m.           October 6 at 11:30 a.m.         October 8 at 7 p.m.
